What you’ll be doing: Leading development of cutting edge performance components for Nvidia Networking Business Unit’s future products. Join and lead task forces to investigate and support performance issues and reports for the Linux driver. Define performance tests for new features, making sure our Network device is able to reach its limits, calculating expected results. Analysis and diagnostics of bottlenecks in the most advance systems in the industry and in our network cards. Working closely with different HW and SW groups to acquire optimal solutions. Development and maintenance of automation tools and infrastructure, to provide the best performance reports! Generating performance reports, isolating and classifying failures and tracking new performance degradation. Identify potential or observed weaknesses in the current process. Offer ideas for actions that can improve quality, and participate in quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement. What we need to see: B.Sc. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering or related field. 3+ years experience as team leader. 5+ years hands-on experience with Performance (focus on Linux). Solid object-oriented programming skills and design patterns. Programming Languages: Have experience programming and/or testing in Python, bash and C++/C as well as scripting languages. Linux knowledge: Have a general understanding of Linux operation system concepts. Quick learning ability, and strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Demonstrated uses of creative thinking for solutions to exciting problems that matter.
