We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Development Expert to join our team in a newly founded start-up company. The Chemical Development Expert will lead the research and development team at our company and be responsible for the development and optimization of chemical processes, including crystallization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and a track record of success in developing and scaling chemical processes and crystallizations. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the development of crystallization processes for the production of new chemical compounds and functional crystals • Develop and scale chemical processes, including crystallization • Conduct laboratory experiments to optimize crystallization conditions and parameters • Analyze data and interpret results to inform process development and optimization efforts • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful transfer of processes to production • Write and review technical reports and protocols • Present findings and progress to internal and external stakeholders Qualifications: • Ph.D. or MSc in Chemistry or a related field • At least 5 years of experience in chemical development, with a strong focus on crystallization • Proven track record of success in developing and scaling chemical processes • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques, including spectroscopy and chromatography • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Familiarity with GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements is a plus We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
