We are looking for a Network Test Engineer to join our End-to-End Verification team. This position will be part of the E2E Verification team while the main goal is to test the most complexed Ethernet/InfiniBand Switch/HCA features and topologies which enables NVIDIA products to meet the industry leading benchmarks of efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will engage in testing of Networking industry-leading systems, be able to learn new features, technologies and protocols, execute manual and automated tests. What you'll be doing: Review arch design and requirements for new features introduced in the whole Ethernet/InfiniBand Switch/HCA portfolio Design and build setup topologies for an appropriate product coverage with an emphasis on emulation of customer large scale / complex environments. Design, mentorship for testing automation team, and execute tests for the new features, as part of NIC software releases. Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by R&D team. Execute End-to-end test scenarios in different scopes: Regression, Performance, Functional and Scale; Report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity.
What we need to see: B.A./B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience as IT/Network Engineer 2+ years of experience Very Strong Hands-on experience in Linux based platform Experience with L2 & L3 network protocols. Fast and self-learner with outstanding technical skills Independent, responsible worker, able to plan and execute Effective trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills Standout colleague with good communication and interpersonal skills Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience with advanced networking system engineering - large scale protocols : BGP , ECMP , VXLAN, Cisco, Sonic.
