Bountica, a Foodtech Startup, is looking for a Senior Researcher to lead the planning and execution of the company’s R&D activities in Kiryat Shmona. About Bountica We are a young startup developing nature-based functional proteins for the food and beverages industry. Bountica is bringing together Pharma drug discovery technologies with industry best practices and application insights to solve some of the most significant challenges in the Agriculture, Food, and Animal Health sectors. Bountica's technology is based on research done by Assistant Professor. Maayan Gal from the Tel Aviv University & Professor. Zvi Hayouka from The Hebrew University. Technical Requirements • MSc/PhD in the field of Life Sciences with expertise in Microbiology and/or molecular biology • Experience in microbial protein expression and purification (A-Z fermentation) Optional & Advantages: • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in food applications development, optimizing and characterizing microbial bio-manufacturing processes utilizing advanced methods • Experience with GLP, GMP and scale-up processes
